About the project

The platform “Digitalising Local Tourism: Discover the Town of Nisporeni and Its Surroundings” is an initiative dedicated to showcasing the cultural, historical and natural heritage of the Nisporeni region. The project was born of the wish to open the town's doors to visitors from all over the country and from abroad, offering them a complete, accessible and modern digital guide.

The initiative was successfully carried out through the “Participatory Budgeting 2026” programme, launched and supported by Nisporeni Town Hall, reflecting the civic involvement of the community and its commitment to innovation and sustainable development.

Our Mission

The primary aim of the platform is to stimulate and promote local tourism and to attract visitors from Moldova and abroad. To ensure an accessible experience for every traveller, all the content is bilingual, in Romanian and English.

The site offers an integrated view of everything Nisporeni has to offer:

• Sights and heritage: historical monuments, architectural treasures, natural attractions and emblematic places.
• Hospitality: verified accommodation options and recommendations on local food (where to eat well).
• Experiences and souvenirs: the authentic products you can take home from the craftspeople and producers of Nisporeni.
• Leisure: recreational activities and unique experiences shaped by the local landscape and traditions.
